Festival of Dutch Independent Art
12-16 September, 2007 – Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Pskov, Yaroslavl, and other cities
The goal of the festival is to acquaint the Russian public with Dutch modern art, music and film, which up until now have not been seen in Russia. The festival is organized by the dutch-russian fund KULPROM, a non-profit organization promoting cultural exchange between the two countries and other european nations. This will be the third Dutch Punch, graciously expecting the participation of groups and DJ's – Blues Brother, Castro, Aux Raus, The Low Point, Drains, Deformer, Applegarden, Malorix, Stoma, DJ Eni-Less, DJ Leen Steen, poet and jazz-dj Jul Deiler, a program of internation film IMPAKT, two programs of experimental, short-meter film by Filmbank, special showings of films by director Das Jan Ader and an animated trilogy Mind My Gap by Rosto AD. The festival also features a showing of the works of Rotterdam-based photographers Daniel Baggerman and Renee Kactelaina, the graphic work of dutch art-collective Antistro Bruno Ferro Havera de Silva, and the comics of Marcel Rauiters.

Film Project We have the unprecedented opportunity to see some of the most exciting modern film and video-art from Dutch directors – adored by European experimental film festivals, and at the same time take part in a living, breathing discussion of active trends and specialties of Dutch cinematography.
The conclusion of the project consisted of a meeting between viewers and project participants at the club “Pyatnitsa (Friday)” and a photo-video presentation of the work of Dutch photographer/artist Mieke Wuestenburg.
